Betty Christeen Shultz

She is now reunited with her husband of 57 years, James Michael Shultz, Sr. and her son James Michael Shultz, Jr.

She is survived by her brother Junior Stinnett; her sisters, Joyce Roberts, Barbara Hudson, and Sharon Trentham. She leaves behind her children, Anthony Shultz (Courtney), Sandra Mitchell, and Kimberly Crews (Danny); her five grandchildren, Jamie Mitchell (Emily), Meredith Sloop (Jacob), Matthew Ball ( Savannah), Laura Warguleske ( Andrew), and Adam Ball (Shae); and four great grandchildren, Callum, Nelson, Sylvie and Eloise.

She loved her family fiercely and was an avid gardener and cook. She was a longtime member of Salem Primitive Baptist Church and she is now in the loving arms of her Saviour Jesus Christ.

A Visitation will be held at Woody Funeral Home, located at 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229, on June 12, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm.

A Committal Service will take place at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Ave, Richmond, VA 23238, on June 12, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
