Beverly "Bev" Parsons

PARSONS, Beverly "Bev," 79, of Richmond, died Thursday, March 10, 2011 at St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert E. Parsons. Survivors include her sons, Brian S. Parsons and his wife, Gwen, of Fairfax, Barry L. Parsons and his wife, Mary Beth, of Fredericksburg, Robert S. Parsons and his wife, Edie, of Phoenix, Arizona; a daughter, Kimberly A. Slivensky of Chicago, Illinois; her grandchildren, Michael B. Parsons, Stephanie R. Allan and her husband, Timothy, Derek M. Barris, Amanda L. Parsons, Nicole C. Slivensky, David A. Parsons, Blair B. Slivensky, Cameron K. Parsons, Stephen T. Parsons and Connor F. Slivensky. Beverly was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a gifted artist, and enjoyed gardening and traveling.

Beverly's family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road, where her funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, Richmond.
