

Bromby Luck Earle, 71, of Richmond died Tuesday, December 18, 2018. She was preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Mildred Luck; and her son, Robert A. Earle, III. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Robert A. Earle, Jr.; a son, Charles Gibson Earle and his fiancé Alicia Kennedy; two daughters, A. Coree Earle and Carrie Earle Allen and her husband, Krister; four grandchildren, Corinne Elizabeth and Sophie LaManna, and Faer and Alexander Fitzsimmons. Bromby was a graduate of St. Catherine’s School, and attended Briarcliff College where she graduated Cum Laude. She lived in New York City and worked on Wall Street. In the 1980s she was a bond trader in Richmond and then most recently worked as a real estate agent for Long & Foster. Bromby loved travel, tennis, knitting, and was an avid skier, spending a great deal of time at Wintergreen through the 70s and 80s. She enjoyed going to live concerts and festivals with her son Gibson; loved VMI, and along with her husband Bob sponsored baseball scholarships. Bromby dedicated the last 13 years to volunteering at Massey Cancer Center, and she served on their Advisory Board. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church on River Road. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Massey Cancer Center or VMI.
