Byron Craig Jones

Byron Craig Jones passed away peacefully on September 15, 2023. He was born on December 11, 1942, to Otis and Calvene Jones. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara Dorsett Jones and his two sons, Warren and Russell.

Craig was a loving and caring husband and father and was a devout follower of our Lord, Jesus. Craig attended Colonial Place Christian Church as well as Mount Victory Baptist Church. He worked as an outside salesperson for many years. Craig was also very active in his surrounding community, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 21st, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 North Parham Road Richmond, VA followed by interment with military honors at Westhampton Cemetery.

A funeral service for Byron will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 4710 - Woody Funeral Home-Parham, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229.
