

Carl Blanton Pyron Jr., of Henrico, VA went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Buck (Uncle Buck) was born in Richmond, VA September 21, 1941 to Carl Blanton Pyron and Margaret Wetmore Pyron.
Buck was a talented artist who particularly loved painting and photography. He studied art at VCU, and spent the majority of his career as a graphic artist for the iconic Richmond retailer, Best Products. Buck was social, talkative, laid-back and witty, with an impressive knowledge about people/public figures and sports. He loved and was dedicated to his family including his cats and dogs Jessie and Vanna, who were his children. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, and loved his Washington Redskins.
Buck has been reunited with the love of his life, his beautiful wife Leslie Clarke Pyron, who predeceased him in 1993. Buck was also predeceased by his parents and his brothers Robert (Eric) Pyron and Russell Pyron. He is survived by his sister Frances Johnson, her husband Grover Johnson and niece Aimee Snell of Viola DE, nephew Mark Johnson of Cincinnati OH, sister-in-law Ede Pyron of Richmond, nieces Leah Terry, Meredith King and Lindsey Pyron of Midlothian, brother-in-law Carlton (Stuart) Clarke, his wife Mary Clarke and niece Crystal Westerfield of Midlothian, and nephew Carlton Clarke of Raleigh NC, as well as many great-nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held Thursday Feb. 1st from 10 AM to 11 AM at Woody Funeral Home Parham. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Interment will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 1 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to Richmond Animal Care and Control (RACC) or the ASPCA in Bucks memory are appreciated.
