Catherine Pleasants Bohannon

Catherine Pleasants Bohannon, 41, of Mechanicsville peacefully went to be with our Lord on March 28th, 2014 after a courageous six year battle with breast cancer. She is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart A.J. Bohannon. Her love and purpose in life are her four children; Allison , Amanda , Ashton and Carter . Her loving parents Frances Pleasants and the late Donald Pleasants. Two sisters; Laura Isley (Mike) and Mandy Williams (Bryan). Parents-in-law Tony and Cindy Bohannon, sister in law Susan Wright (Tracy). Nieces and Nephews are Brittney, Matthew, Tyler, Benjamin and Breanne. Cathy was a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend but her passion in life was being a mom to her four wonderful children and many other children along the way.

Visitation will be held Sunday 2-5 and Monday 6-8 at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, 1771 N Parham Rd, Richmnd, VA. Funeral Service will also be at Woody at 2pm Tuesday followed by an interment at Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Battery Park Christian Church to support Cathy’s two favorite events the Easter Egg Hunt and Santa Breakfast.
