Cheryl Elaine Richardson

RICHARDSON, Cheryl Elaine, 59, passed away on December 20, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and B. Joan Hawkins; and her sister, Paula Hawkins. Cheryl is survived by her brother: Stuart Hawkins; her husband: Jay Richardson; sons: Noah and Peter Richardson; daughters: Julie, Dori, Merry, Eden, and Faith Richardson; daughters-in-law: Brittany and Hannah Richardson; and her grandchildren: Rachel, Piper and Isaiah Richardson. Cheryl was a GREAT mom to seven children and three grandchildren, loving them dearly with all of her heart and every fiber of her being. She used her Master’s of Education degree in Early Childhood Development to raise and teach her kids from birth through high school: and used her knowledge as well to give selflessly to many others around the city and in her church, for which she will be remember most. Cheryl loved listening to and singing worship music as she felt it brought her closer to Jesus, instilling that same joy in all of her children. She was well loved by all in return and will never be forgotten.
