Christine Fletcher Bowker, 84, of Richmond, Va., passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, September 7, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James Alex Bowker; ten children, seven siblings, 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road on Sunday, September 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 10 at 11 a.m. at St. Bridget Catholic Church, Three Chopt Road. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1503 Michael Road, Richmond, Va., 23229.
