Christine Barnes Clemons, 89, of Richmond, passed away at home on Sunday, February 10, 2013. She was born to the late Vester and Mary Barnes, She attended Hanover Church of the Nazarene. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years James O. Clemons, Christine was also preceded by one daughter Nellrena. She is survived by her children James, Charles, Teresa Gibrall, and Wanda Walsh. Fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren and a brother Chester Barnes of Bartlette, Tn.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 2:00- 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00pm at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, VA, 23229. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday February 13, 2013 at 11:00am with interment following at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery.
