AYERS, C. Harold, of Henrico, Va., passed away at home on Friday, November 8, 2013. Mr. Ayers was born December 6, 1927 in Summers County, W.Va., to the late Lonnie Francis and Vera Opal Ayers. He graduated from Hinton High School and worked for Virginia Power until his retirement in 1989. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Louise B. Ayers; his children, Ruth Ann Hoge (Ray), H. Joseph "Joe" Ayers (Jo Rita) and Linda Anderson (Jack). Also surviving are four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services are private. The family asks that contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
