She was a member of Highland Springs Church of Christ. Claudine was preceded in death by her parents and one son Norman Ellis Grubbs, Jr. (Butch)
She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years Norman Grubbs, Her children Donna Dicks and husband Tim and David Charles Grubbs, a special daughter in-law Joann Grubbs. Five grandchildren Jackie Rudd and husband Michael, Jessica Grubbs, Haley Dicks, Daniel Grubbs and Justin Dicks, one great grandson Braxton Rudd. She also has her brothers Olan Shrewsbury and wife Virginia and Roger Shrewsbury and wife Joan.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Richmond, VA 23229 and services will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with interment following at Greenwood Memorial Park.
