Clifford Edward Seay

Clifford Edward Seay passed away peacefully on January 16, 2021.Cliff was 82 years old and lived for many years with his close friends, Oscar, LaJuan, Owen, and Herman, first in Carytown and in recent years in their home in Stratford Hills. He is survived by his sister, Barbara C. Adams. Since moving to Richmond in 1996, he received loving care and support from Denise Bell, Andrea Charity, Becky Drennen, Monique Baccus, Beverly Mitchell, Iris Hargrove, Angalyn Jones, and Kendra Rice. Cliff was a colorful character who loved coffee, which he often enjoyed with his guardian/friend Donna Sutton, McDonalds, sitting in his favorite rocking chair, and helping others. Blessed with a great sense of humor, he communicated with an array of creative gestures and phrases. Cliff was small in physical stature but with his blue eyes, white hair, and confident demeanor, he was memorable to all who met him. He is deeply missed by those of us fortunate to have him in our lives. A visitation for Clifford Seay will be held at Woody Funeral Home Parham, 1771 North Parham Road, Richmond, Va. on February 4, 2021 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate Cliff’s remarkable life and spirit.
