Just heard of Dan's passing today. So very sad to hear this news. I worked with Dan many years ago at A. H. Robins and he was with McGuire Woods. We tried to keep in touch with cards over the years and even got together a few years ago. He was the most caring and thoughtful person. He had a smile and a sense of humor that always brighten your day. I will miss you my friend. You had a heart of gold and my life is much richer for having you in it!

Hi Sally,
I worked with Dan for many, many years. I will greatly miss his presence. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was very kind. My family fondly remembers him, especially our sons, who remember him attending their Eagle Scout ceremonies. The Hallion Family (Rey, Linda, Rey, Jr., Gabrielle, Langston and Malcolm)

Dan was a great friend to me, to my entire family and to many of my co-workers. I knew him for over three decades. He was a very friendly and kind man. As one of my daughters said when she got the news, “Dan was the best.” We will all miss him very much.
