I sit in my house on the side of a mountain watching the snow fall all around and I think can I pen this tribute to Danny? Danny and I hiked many miles in the Blue Ridge. Funny how life twist and turns and from a far, 3500 miles as it is, someone reaches you and you don't know why but they are there just the same. I was sitting in a dark theater waiting for the movie "The Hobbit" to start 3 weeks ago and Danny came flooding in. Yes Paige, he has a way of Painting Our world and we not know it at the time.  Danny was true to the Artist Soul and Lover of the written word as he had introduced me to J.R. Tolkien. He was Unconventional, watchful soaking all the nuances in. Good as well as not so wholesome but part of the canvas we call our world.  He enjoyed Food, Music, {banjo} a good gathering of Friends warmed by fine drink as well as an open fire. I remember sitting under the stars by a camp fire drawing with actual charcoal sticks that were still warm from recently being pulled out of the glowing embers. Watching the stars and laughing with His group of Merry men as we discussed life unfolding.   God Speed to Your Soul I know the view is spectacular from where you sit now my friend. Remember his laugh and the sparkle in his eyes as he mused some interesting ventures. Healing and Love to All.

Sunrise was beautiful and full of color this morning, like a painting, and I thought of Danny.  Danny will live on through his art, but his quiet, unassuming presence here on earth will be sorely missed by all of us who knew and loved him.

the tears will never stop. how do u understand the loss of my brother Danny Wayne Moran. He raised me and frank, he provided us with food, he sacrificed his wants and needs to insure that frank and i had what we needed. how do u continue. thank god that danny had donna, liz and will. they gave him the family that as children- none of us had. Danny wuz and will always be my HERO. he taught me guitar ,he feed us, he taught me unconditional love. he gave me and frank ALL OF EVERYTHING, and he accepted nothing in return. I AM SO BLESSED AND GRATEFUL TO DONNA WIRICK, LIZ AND WILL MORAN, U 3 WERE HIS WORLD, and i am so garteful that he had all three of u in the end. I am so blessed and grateful to know that my oldest brother wuz loved by so many. i love u danny, u will 4ever be with me. thank u for the life u gave me, and thank u for being my BIG BROTHER. RIP DANNY 1-7-2013 - I LOVE U, LOVE UR BABY SISTER..............PLEASE GOD TAKE THIS SPECIAL ANGEL AND KEEP DONNA, LIZ AND WILL IN UR HEART. I LOVE YOU DANNY. I met Danny when he moved into my neighborhood just a couple of doors up during my high school years.  I have a lot of fond memories as we shared a lot of laughs and good times. My deepest sympathy to Donna and the family.  May God wrap his loving arms around you all during this difficult time.
