
MCDONALD, David T. passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2014 in his home in Richmond. David was born on May 23, 1933 in Hackensack, N.J. and was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary McDonald and his three brothers, John, James and Jerome McDonald. David is survived by his wife, Janice F. McDonald; sons, David F. McDonald of Philadelphia, PA and Damian W. McDonald of Cold Spring, N.Y.; five grandchildren, James, Alistair, Justin, Wylie and Quinn; and niece, Nancy McDonald. David was a graduate of St. Peter’s College and a member of the U.S. Army’s 775th Field Artillery Battalion. David’s business career revolved around The Ford Foundation, NYC, where he worked for twenty years and became the Director of Taxes and Insurance. His passion included his family and his friends, pets (especially Grey), golf, his Scottish heritage, church, music travel, the arts and photography. A special thank you to Angela who cared for him so lovingly. A memorial service will be held 11am Thursday, November 20, 2014 at All Saints Episcopal Church, 8787 River Rd., Richmond, Va.
