Donald Lee Satterwhite

SATTERWHITE, Donald Lee, age 80, of Richmond, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Barbara Satterwhite; daughter, Terry Lee Satterwhite; his devoted, loving canine companion, Ms. B; cousin, Jacque Bartek; and many beloved friends and family. Don served in the Air National Guard. He enjoyed snow skiing, was very competitive and a master ski tuner. He met his loving wife in the Richmond Ski Club. Don also enjoyed cooking, gardening, hunting, fishing, windsurfing, playing music with his friends and times at his hunting cabin and cottage at Nags Head. He will be remembered for his passion and zest for life. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Rd., Richmond, Va. 23229. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, at 11 a.m. at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1925 Grove Ave., Richmond, Va. 23220. Memorial contributions may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church or charity of choice.
