Doris Jones Moser

MOSER, Doris J., 74, of Henrico, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2016. She was preceded in death by her father, William H. Jones; and mother, Nancy B. Jones. She is survived by her husband, Del Lee Moser; sisters, Elizabeth A. Jones and Janice J. Campbell (Ty); brother, William H. Jones Jr.; stepdaughter, Sheryl M. Trail (Floyd); and their two sons, one daughter and two grandsons, a niece and two nephews and one great-niece and many wonderful friends, whom she treasured. Doris was born in Buckingham County, Va. She graduated from Buckingham Central High School, Radford College and Virginia Commonwealth University (Masters in Health and Physical Education). Doris taught school in Henry, Roanoke and Henrico County. She retired fron Mills E. Godwin High School; post retirement realtor at Long and Foster Realty Company. She was a member of Herb Society, Richmond Garden Club, Bridge Club, Junior Women's Club. Doris will be greatly missed. There will be a celebration of her life at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Mills E.
