Dorothy Schultz, 92, left this earth for Heaven on Monday, February 18, 2013, joining her husband, Bill Previs, mother and father, Corinne and Adam Schultz, and sister, Katherine Saunders. She is survived by her niece, Barbara Melton; great-nephews, Glenn Melton, Adam Melton and his wife, Hope; and their daughter, Ruby Claire Melton. Born and raised in Richmond, "Dot" led a Christian life, dedicated to her little family and the many people she influenced through her loving guidance as their Sunday School teacher. Raised in Mount Vernon Baptist Church, she was most recently a member of Skipwith Baptist, faithfully teaching their Fellowship Class well into her 80s. Dorothy humbly left her sweet and kind mark while on this earth and during her many years with us. "Well done, thy good and faithful servant...enter thou into the joy of the Lord." The family will receive friends at Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road on Thursday, February 21, 2013, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Skipwith Baptist Church on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 1 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Virginia Foundation. Online condolences may be made at woodyfuneralhomeparham.com.
