Dorothy Beasley Roach

Dorothy Beasley Roach, 90, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014. She was born in Varina,VA to the late W. Lloyd and Esther Dorey Beasley on June 17, 1923. Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years W. Oakley Roach, Jr. After graduating from Pan American Business College, she worked at C&O Railroad as an administrative assistant. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bridge and volunteering for Meals on Wheels. Dorothy is survived by her devoted sister Phyllis B Williams, three nieces Lynne M Williams of Scottsdale, AZ, Lisa W Pulsifer (Doug) of Midlothian, Bonnie R Meade and nephew Stephen Roach (Anne) of Murrells Inlet, SC. The celebration of life service with be held at Westhampton Memorial Gardens in the Chapel on May 9, 2014 at 11:30 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Meals on Wheels.
