Edna Tew King

King, Edna Tew, age 83, of Richmond, VA went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sallie Tew of Clinton, NC. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survivors are her loving husband of 60 years, Henry H. King Jr.; son, Hank N. King (Sherry) of Mechanicsville, VA; daughter, Sharon K. Williams (Wayne) of Ashland, VA; Lisa K. King (Chris Moren) of King William, VA ; six grandchildren, Jill King Harris (Jason), Chris Williams (Laura), Neal King (Sarah), Courtney Williams, Seth Phillips (Kate), Justin Phillips and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday February 12th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Woody’s Funeral Home Parham Chapel. Funeral services will be held Monday February 13th at 2 pm at Parham Road Baptist Church. Interment will follow immediately at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parham Road Baptist Church to support the children’s programs. Mrs King devoted her life to supporting and mentoring children. She was “NANA” to all.
