GIBBS, Eleanor Sterling, departed this life on Monday, March 27, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harry B. Sterling and Raymond D. Gibbs; a brother, Col. Joseph Paul Melucas. She is survived by two sons, Jeffrey A. Sterling (Deb) and R. Dennis Gibbs (Marge); four grandchildren, Scott and Leslie Sterling, Robert and Katie Gibbs. She was a Charter member of Epiphany Lutheran Church. Eleanor retired from C & P Telephone Co. in the early 80's as a forecaster.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Friday, March 31, 2017, at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 1400 Horsepen Rd., Richmond, 23226. Her service will begin at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Westhampton Memorial and Cremation Park.
