POLLARD, Eliza Jewell, widow of Ellis Lee Pollard, died at her home at Lakewood Manor on Saturday, July 6, 2013. Born in Clover, Va.,she was the daughter of the late V.C. and Ellie Nichols. She is survived by her daughter, Kaye P. Gardner, son-in-law, Russell; granddaughter, Molly Katalin Gardner, all of Midlothian; two sisters, Cecile Nichols of Clover, Va. and Jean Irby of Norfolk, Va. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Vivian Bryant and Claude Toombs and three brothers, Walter Nichols, Garner Nichols and Elmer Nichols. She retired from Miller & Rhoads where she was a sales associate. Mrs. Pollard was a long-time member of Westhampton Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service from 1 to 2pm with her service beginning at 2pm Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd.
