Elizabeth Butler Coble, 83, of Richmond went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. She was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria, and her brother, Roy. Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Nat "Sonny" Coble; her sons, Wayne (Betty) and Keith (Susie); and her two grandchildren, Jamie and Jessi.
She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1953 and spent her life with her husband and raising their family together in Richmond.
Her family will always remember her love for cooking for her beloved family and being amazing at it. She also loved gardening and flowers.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Woody Funeral Home - Parham Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 4 at 11a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Emmanuel Episcopal Cemetery, 1214 Wilmer Ave., Richmond, Virginia 23227.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in her name, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
