He was preceded in death by his parents, Agnes and Ellwood Meeteer; three sisters, Nancy Alden, Margaret Meeteer, Laura Brondum. He is survived by his wife Lois Meeteer, daughter Lisa Meeteer and one grandson, Austin Meeteer all of Richmond; one sister, Frances Smith of Tennessee; several nieces and one nephew and many loving extended family members and friends who will miss him greatly.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, Virginia.
