Sonny Willis, age 90, of Glen Allen, VA., passed away Friday, February 21, 2025. Sonny was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Hazel Willis; his daughter, Robin Willis; brother, Charles Willis; and sister, Jean Warner. He is survived by son, Barry Willis; brother, Bernard Willis (Kitty); sisters, Charlotte Spain, Francis Miller and Josephine Mason. Grandchildren, Kimberly, Heather, Willis Price, great-grandchildren, Axel, Grace and Hayley Willis. Sonny was a member of Hunton Baptist Church. He was in the military in Germany. He was a great baseball and basketball player. He worked for his father in the heating business. He worked for A. H. Robbins for 30 years. He was a workaholic. He was a great husband, father and provider and he will be deeply missed. A visitation for Sonny will be held Monday, March 3, 2025 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Hunton Baptist Church, 11660 Greenwood Rd., Glen Allen, VA. 23059. A funeral service will occur Monday, March 3, 2025, from 12 to 1 p.m., 11660 Greenwood Rd., Glen Allen, VA. 23059. A Graveside Service will occur Monday, March 3, 2025, from 3 to 4 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Lane, Richmond, VA. 23222.
