The family and friends are still part of our family today. Erin loved performing, learning new dances and traveling with the Minds and Motion Dance team. A VIRGINIA TECH HOKIE! Erin was a perfect example of what being a ‘HOKIE’ is!! She loved going to the games and loved all her HOKIE family! GO HOKIES! Erin graduated Virginia Tech in 2020 with an Accounting degree and a minor in Communications. Erin spent a summer in the South of France with the Pamplin College of Business. She enjoyed traveling to Amsterdam, Barcelona and Paris while she was in Europe. Erin was proud to be a Sigma Kappa Sister. Her sisters and little sisters and little little sisters all meant a lot to Erin. Erin also assisted in guiding groups of girls through the entire sorority recruitment process as a member of Rho Gamma. Erin danced with the Bamboom Dance Crew while at Virginia Tech in her freshman year. She loved being part of the team and the dance experience. Erin was also a member of the Pi Sigma Epsilon business fraternity. After graduation from Virginia Tech Erin moved to Arlington, VA. Erin had the job of her dreams with Kearney & Company in Alexandria. Erin was an auditor associate working towards her CPA. Erin loved her life in Arlington. She made many new friends whom she loved. She played on a kick ball team at the monument in Washington, D.C.,(which she was awarded the holy trinity: smack talk, team spirit and bar captain award), Monday nights bingo at the Irish Pub and going to the National Games. Erin was a good friend. Erin always put others needs before her own-which made her a Great Friend. Erin was always a positive person. Erin’s smile would light up a whole room, her energy for life and she had the ability to make people feel they were the most important person in her world. Erin loved her life and worked very hard to accomplish all that she did in 23 years. She made it and was living her dream. Erin had many things that made her happy, but the GREATEST treasure was her sister Katelin. There are no words to express the depth of their friendship, love and admiration for each other. Erin continuously showed support to Katelin in all aspects of her life. Words cannot describe what a big heart Erin had not only for her sister, but everyone around her. A daughter whom made us laugh, smile, hugged us and showed us 100% love every day. Ann, Jim, and Katelin are grateful for all the thoughtfulness that has been shown to them. Please keep them in your prayers. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Erin’s memory to the Richmond Ballet “Minds in Motion” program. The address is 407 East Canal Street Richmond, VA 23219.
