I am deeply sorry for your loss.  Gene was a great colleague and friend.  An outstanding professor, he was a valued asset to VCU, the athletic program, the School of Business faculty and students, and the Department of Management,  He is missed.

My favorite professor and best teacher I ever had.  He was funny, warm and approachable. A great man. Thoughts  and prayers to the Hunt family and rest in peace Dr. Hunt.

I had the pleasure of working for Dr. Hunt when I was a page for the general assembly in 1997.  He was a wonderful person to work with, and this was recognizable by all of us (13-14 year olds).

mrs.hunt u and dr.hunt are a breath of fresh air even though i havent.t known u for very long he made feel like he had known me for years he made feel like i was part of the family rest now dr. hunt for god has u in his arms this is a day that the lord has made be blessed in it

It was a joy knowing Gene.  We are so sorry for your loss.  He was full of life and always interested in new endeavors.  I recall fondly his adventure to Russia.

To the Family of Dr. Eugene Hunt,

    Dr. Hunt was on my dissertation committee in the School of Business in December 1994.  He motivated me to write an article for publication in the Richmond Times-Dispatch about our trip to the Saturn plant in Springhill, TN and based on one of the papers for his History of Management course.  A kindly and good counselor for doctoral students.  My sincerest regrets to learn of his passing.  Best wishes, McDonald Davis, III, Ph.D.
