On Thursday, October 17, 2013, Evelyn Rae Darnell, 76, of Richmond, went to be with her Lord. She is survived by three children, Johnny Jones, Warren Darnell (Yvonne) and Charlene Schneider (Danny); eleven grandchildren, Matthew and Eric Jones, Sarah Jones Ducett, Daegan and Kaleigh Schneider, Ashley and Cory Darnell, Matthew Ashworth, Tori and Conor Acosta, and Jordan Edwards; also many great-grandchildren; and longtime friend and caregiver, Pat Weaver.
Mrs. Darnell was a former employee of Safeway and retired from Ukrop’s.
The family will receive friends 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
