Born February 15, 1938, in Richmond to the late Lester and Earlyne Scott. She attended Thomas Jefferson High School and studied nursing at Stuart Circle Hospital. She was a devoted stay at home mother and later dedicated her career back to healthcare where she worked and retired from MCV Neurosurgery Department.
She was a devoted member of Chamberlayne Heights United Methodist Church where she met Arthur Nunally, and on May 18, 1992, she married her love. Together they built a home filled with faith, love, joy and family.
Fay’s passions were family, friends, neighbors, travel groups, and her love of all birds. Her connection with everyone she knew was always apparent through her actions and prayers. Our memories of her smile, kindness and service to others honor a life well-lived.
She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Arthur; her children Stuart Duncan (Kristie) of Goochland and Dardi Ritchie (Beau) of Harrisonburg, and her stepchildren Cheryl Corbin (Tommy) of Glen Allen, Patti Nunnally (John) of Goochland and Jan Dankos (Glenn) of Glen Allen; her grandchildren Danielle, Annie, Trent, Hayley, Ally, Brett, Ashton and Robert; her nine great grandchildren; and her brother Tommy Scott (Kathy) of Rockville. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Scott Duncan and her brother Kenneth Scott.
