Florence B. Smith, 91, fell asleep in the Lord on July 15, 2014. She was born on July 11, 1923 in Hamilton, Ontario, the youngest child of Sarah Mitchell Rogers Bigger and Henry Johnston Bigger. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, H. Blair Smith; daughters, Margaret Smith and Martha Chiles; grandson, Daniel Chiles (Holly); granddaughter, Emery Winans (Ben); beloved sister, Margaret E. Farrar of Mt. Hope, Ontario; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Florence was a faithful member of the Richmond Christadelphian Forest Hill Ecclesia. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 18 from 2 to 3 p.m. with a funeral service following at 3 p.m. at the Chapel mausoleum at Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Ave., Richmond, Va. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jewish National Fund-Christadelphian Forest (Beth Shemesh), 78 Randall Ave., Rockville Centre, NY 11570.
