Freddie Herbert Louk

LOUK, Freddie Herbert, 80, of Henrico, formerly of Mingo, W. VA, son of the late Rufus and Lucy Louk, went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 20, 2017. He is survived by daughters Debi Barker, Peggy Louk, Penny Lumpkins, son Tim Louk, grandchildren PJ, Jamie, Woody, Caleb and Carlie Barker, Kasey and Bobby Lumpkins, great-grandchildren Devin, Vickie, Cora, James and Lane; his devoted friend and sister-in-law Dodie Wilson, many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life his wife of 52 years Joyce Wilson Louk; his brothers Buford and Ray Louk. He was of the Christian faith and loved the Lord. On November 25, 1955 he entered the United States Army where he served our Country while stationed in Alaska. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched.

The family will receive friends Wednesday August 23, 2017 from 6-8pm and Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 6-8pm at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. His funeral service will be held 1pm Friday, August 25, 2017 at Grove Avenue Baptist Church, 8791 Ridge Rd, Richmond. Interment will follow at Westhampton Memorial Park.
