Garland Henry Morgan

Garland Henry Morgan, 89, passed away on May 4, 2019, at Community Hospice House. He was the husband of Bonnie Kaye Morgan, and they shared 50 years of marriage this year. Born in New Kent County, he was the son of William Clarence and Margaret Morgan. He graduated from New Kent H.S in 1947. He was a volunteer firefighter in Henrico County. He was employed at Kraft-Heinz for 44 years as a mechanic and forklift operator. His hobbies were his cats, fishing, and working on lawn mowers. He is survived by his wife, Kaye; daughter, Rebecca; grandchildren; sisters, Mae Driver and her husband, Joe, and Elizabeth (Tootie) Badger; brother, George W. (Pete) Morgan; several nephews and nieces; and great-nephews and nieces. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 10, 2019 from 6-8 PM at Woody Funeral Home – Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, VA 23229. A funeral services will be held on Saturday May 11, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the chapel. Interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park at 3:00 PM, located at 10201 Newbys Bridge Rd., Chesterfield, VA 23832.
