Gladys Elizabeth Britton
June 5, 1925 – January 21, 2021
Gladys Miles Britton, 95 of Henrico,Virginia, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning January 21,2021.
She was preceded in death by her husband John B. Britton, Jr, her son John B. Britton, III and her parents William and Hattie Miles. She is survived by her daughters Betty Noel (Douglas-(Pookie), Jane Blanton (Tom) and Joan Cook. Grandchildren Deron (Melissa), Kim (Ricky), Todd, Richard (Kathy),Paige, (Jerry) Leslie (Steven) Jessica (Rouben), Thomas (Tori), Jason, Amy (Michael), Kyle (Susan) and Aaron (Heather).. Great-grandchildren Paige (Will) ,Colby (Jordyn), Rilee, Kinlee, Kaitlee, Luke, Tanner, Connor, Isabelle,Sydney, Taylor, Devyn, Dalton, Harley, Georgia, Remi, Sawyer, Lynk, Greyson, Nikki, Brentley. and great great grandchildren. Jax, Greyson and Oaklee. Gladys loved her family and enjoyed crocheting blankets for each one of her children and grandchildren. She was a faithful member of New Covenant Baptist Church and loved to play Bingo. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 1,2021 at 1 p.m.,Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Lane, Richmond, Virginia 23222. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity.

WHAT A SPECIAL LADY!! ITS NO DOUBT OUR HEAVENLY FATHER AND ALL THE ANGELS SANG AS SHE ENTERED IN THOSE PEARLY GATES!
What a blessing she has been for so many! She will be missed but her memories will live on forever in the hearts of all her family and friends!!

Nannie was a wonderful lady i loved her so very much. I know everyone will miss her dearly. I am so sorry for your loss. She will always be in our hearts . Now she will be with Pappa and Johnny. Love and prayers to all the family.
