She was preceded in death by her husband John B. Britton, Jr, her son John B. Britton, III and her parents William and Hattie Miles. She is survived by her daughters Betty Noel (Douglas-(Pookie), Jane Blanton (Tom) and Joan Cook. Grandchildren Deron (Melissa), Kim (Ricky), Todd, Richard (Kathy),Paige, (Jerry) Leslie (Steven) Jessica (Rouben), Thomas (Tori), Jason, Amy (Michael), Kyle (Susan) and Aaron (Heather).. Great-grandchildren Paige (Will) ,Colby (Jordyn), Rilee, Kinlee, Kaitlee, Luke, Tanner, Connor, Isabelle,Sydney, Taylor, Devyn, Dalton, Harley, Georgia, Remi, Sawyer, Lynk, Greyson, Nikki, Brentley. and great great grandchildren. Jax, Greyson and Oaklee. Gladys loved her family and enjoyed crocheting blankets for each one of her children and grandchildren. She was a faithful member of New Covenant Baptist Church and loved to play Bingo. A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 1,2021 at 1 p.m.,Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Lane, Richmond, Virginia 23222.
