Gladys Marie Henry Throckmorton, 86, of Richmond, Va., passed away January 21, 2013. She was the wife of the late Ted W. Throckmorton Jr. and the daughter of the late Allison and Ruby Henry. She is survived by her three children, Ted III, Brenda Williams and her husband, Rick, and David and his wife, Shannon; four grandchildren, Allison, Keri, Travis and Jeremy. Gladys was a graduate of John Marshall High School. She was a dedicated homemaker for her husband and three children. Gladys enjoyed boating with her family and dancing to the oldies.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 23, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., and where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment private.
