My deepest sympathy to your family in the loss of your beautiful mother.  I was blessed to sit next to Helen in the choir loft at Derbyshire Baptist Church for many years.  She was such a lovely lady, with a great wit and sense of humor.  It was an honor to call her friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

What a great lady Mrs. Simms was and a grand example on how one should live their lives.   Mrs. Simms and her husband, Albert, meant so much to Calvary Baptist Church in the 1950's.

So sorry to hear about your loss. You know that God and Jesus are in the best position to comfort us when we lose a loved one in death.

I worked with Mrs. Simms at Lakewood Manor when it first opened.  We shared an office in one of the apartments and even shared a telephone, stapler and tape dispenser.  She was a lovely lady and did everything at Lakewood Manor.
