Henry Arthur Frostick, resident of Lakewood Manor, died December 28, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Emma Frostick; his brothers, Bruce and Sherwood Frostick; and his sister, Joyce Frostick Selden. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Catherine "Kitty" Frostick; his daughter, Marbury Frostick Oplinger (Mike); his son, Cameron Frostick (Terri); and four grandsons, Hunter and Logan Frostick, Ken Moody Jr. and Alex Oplinger, all of Richmond. There are two other special young men, Mario and Jose. Mr. Frostick retired after 40 years from Virginia Mutual Insurance Company (now Alfa) as one of the vice presidents. Mr. Frostick served in the Army Air Force for four years, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant, and in the Air Force Reserves another two years. He and his wife were charter members of Skipwith Baptist Church and he enjoyed many years of service there, especially serving as a deacon. He loved his God, his family, and his country. On January 2, 2014, at 10:30 a.m., there will be graveside services at Forest Lawn Cemetery, and a celebration of his life will be held at Skipwith Baptist Church at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to Skipwith Baptist Church, Lakewood Manor Benevolence Fund, or the Alzheimer's Association Greater Richmond Chapter.
