Henry Gasiorowski

GASIOROWSKI, Henry, 91, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2017. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 70 years, June W. Gasiorowski. He is survived by his two children, daughter, Sherry G. Christian (Ed); and son, Stanley Gasiorowski (Cary); two grandchildren, Michael Gasiorowski (Christy) and Tim Gasiorowski (Meaghan); as well as three great-grandchildren, Jack, Ella and Avery Gasiorowski.

Hank was born in Jersey City, N.J. on April 29, 1925 and was a veteran of WWII. Hank served in Germany, participating in the Battle of the Bulge, where he was combat wounded receiving two Bronze Stars and a Purple Heart. Hank spent his career with the U.S.P.S. until his retirement.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Hank's funeral service will begin following at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Wounded Warrior Fund.
