JACOB PARRISHPARRISH, Jacob "Jake" Cayden, 15, of Hanover, Va., passed peacefully on Thursday, September 26, 2013. Jake is survived by his parents, Richard M. and Kelly M. Parrish; sister, Lauren A. Parrish; grandparents, George A. Bruner Jr. and Joyce M. Bruner, Jean H. Parrish; and his dog Emma. The funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Road Chapel. Pastor Dale Ashley will officiate. Interment will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens on Patterson Ave. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 1, 2013, at the chapel. The family would like to express their special thanks to his caregiver, Tammy Mocanu, and teachers and bus drivers at South Anna, Liberty and Patrick Henry schools.
