James T. Wyatt, 68, of Richmond died peacefully at his home on Friday, September 3, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Thelma B. Wyatt; 5 children, Donna Wyatt Slasor, James B. Wyatt, Robin Hicks (Kenny), Brian Scott Wyatt and Randy Dean Wyatt; 6 grandchildren, Christopher Thomas Wyatt, Brandon Scott Wyatt, Bradley Scott Wyatt, Tina Smart, Wesley Hathcock and Terry Hicks; and a special niece, Susan Howell.
Jim was a 20 year employee with Brooks & Company. He was an avid fisherman and loved camping and bluegrass music. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather, and as someone who never met a stranger.
The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., where a funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. Interment is Private.
