GOODYKOONTZ, Jean Beasley, 82, of Richmond, died Saturday, April 9, 2011. She was predeceased by Alf Goodykoontz, her loving husband of 48 years; and brother, Bill Beasley. She is survived by a son, Chuck Goodykoontz and his wife, Cathy, of Rochester, N.Y.; two grandsons, Brian Goodykoontz of Towson, Md. and Eric Goodykoontz of Rochester, N.Y.; nephews, a niece and many dear friends.
The family will receive friends 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2011 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Road. A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 903 Forest Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Virginia Home for Boys and Girls, the Virginia Institute of Pastoral Care or the Trinity Foundation, Dillard Forum Fund at Trinity United Methodist Church.
