CRANE, Joan H., 83, of Richmond, passed away on Nov. 7, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years,Harold J. Crane, and is survived by her sister, Janet H. Waller; son, Gary S. Crane; daughters; Susan G. Crane and Rebecca C. Alley; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. After graduation from Thomas Jefferson High School, she began work at St. Luke's Hospital in the accounting office and later found joyful success as a sales representative with Avon for over 40 years. She was a life member of Optimist International and a longtime volunteer at the Va.Home for Boys & Girls. A visitation will be held from 2 to 5 pm on Sunday,Nov. 20, 2016 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Road. PLEASE – no flowers or plants. Contributions can be made to the Va.
