Joe graduated from Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture in 1977. He spent many years at Circuit City and took great pride in his work and profession.
A lifelong Hokie, Joe loved cheering on Virginia Tech and spending time with family and friends. In his younger years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be remembered for his love of cars and the many memories made with those closest to him.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Julia Ann Freeze; his brother, Jeff Freeze Sister-in-law Magdalena Freeze; and his nephew, Michael Freeze.
He is survived by his brothers, Mark Freeze (Paula Freeze) and Jon Freeze; sister-in-law, Susan Freeze; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Joe will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
A graveside service will take place at a later date. Updates will come as services are planned.
