WHITE, The Honorable John Mercer, Jr., 89, of Henrico went to be with the Lord, Sunday, December 28, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, John M. White, Sr. and mother, Effie Hill White; and the mother of his children, LaVern Carman White. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Amy S. White; his children, Linda May (Robert), John M. White, III (Lorrie) and 6 grandchildren; one sister, Jean White Thomas and a niece, Barbara Thomas. A graveside service will be held at 10am Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Westhampton Memorial Park, 10000 Patterson Ave. There will be no formal visitation prior to service.
