Jonathan Augustine Avery Cowne, 72, of Richmond, Virginia, passed away September 29, 2013. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Cowne; and his wife, Janna Lee Gough Cowne. He is survived by his children, David Pettite, Jonathan Cowne and his wife, Cindy, Beverly Jordan and her husband, Tim, William Cowne and his wife, Rebekah, Elda Parsons and her husband, Tim, Susan Turley and her husband, Kevin; also six grandchildren. Mr. Cowne retired from the United States Postal Service where he was a postal clerk. A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Westhampton Memorial Park.
