Jorgen was a retired systems programmer for McKesson Corp. and he enjoyed being a member of Central Virginia Radio Control (CVRC) – Model Airplane Club.
He is survived by his beloved wife Kathleen “Kathy” Jorgensen, his five children: Andrew Jorgensen, Elizabeth Jorgensen, Jorgen D. Jorgensen, Sr. and wife Eileen, Bobbie Farley, and Michael Scambos and wife Jenna, there are seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Woody Funeral Home, Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Richmond , Va from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00PM and a funeral service on Monday at 1:00PM at the funeral home with interment following at Westhampton Memorial Gardens .
