HARMON, Josephine Bomar, 91, of Henrico, passed away Saturday May 14, 2016. The widow of Walter D. Harmon, she is survived by one daughter, Linda H. Cox (Joe); her son, Walter C. Harmon (Karen); two brothers, James Henry Bomar of Lynchburg, Va. and Howard Bomar of Nathalie, Va.; four grandchildren, Michael Cox, Karen Schandel (David), Heather Wood (Rusty) and Cary Harmon; four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Cameron and Kendall Cox and Abigail Schandel. Josephine was a retired employee of Leggett Meyers Tobacco Co. Josephine will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2016, at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Ave., Richmond, Va. 23233. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts should be made to the charity of donor's choice.
