MARTIN, Juanita Pollard, 90, of Richmond, widow of Wiley S. Martin, passed away November 6, 2013. She was born and raised in Roanoke, VA. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Martin Fisher of Richmond; sister, Thelma Duncan of Roanoke; brother, Jack Pollard of Birmingham Alabama; she is also survived by four grandchildren, Keith Lewis Fisher, Mary Stewart Fisher Disse and husband Edward Disse III, and Lynn Fisher Brokaw and husband Mark Brokaw Jr., and Brian Cowan Fisher and wife Sara Cable; two great-grandchildren, Hailey Stewart Disse and Brooke Jordan Disse.
Juanita was a positive influence on many and enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and spending time with her family. She will be missed so muchby her family and by all those whose life she touched in her 90 years.
The family will receive friends Monday, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Parham Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 12 noon in Westhampton Memorial Park. Online condolences may be made at www.woodyfuneralhome.com.
