She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Emmett Ellen, Jr, children Emmett Ellen III (Wendy), Janet Phifer (Johnny), Grandchildren Ben Phifer (Emma), Katie Foster (Michael), Thomas Phifer, Michael Ellen (Lilly). Great grandchildren Violet Foster and Scarlett Ellen. Sister Marilyn Lovell (Larry) and many nieces and Nephews.
Judy cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she loved playing pickleball and spending time with the pickleball community. She stayed busy making her famous chicken salad for family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on July 7th at the New Bethesda Baptist Church on 9019 New Bethesda Road, Mechanicsville Va 23116. Visitation will be at 11 am and the service to follow at 12pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Bethesda Baptist Church.
