Keri Marie Perchalski B.A., EMT, R.N

With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Keri Marie Perchalski on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Keri’s warmth, dedication, and love for her family and community leave a void that can never truly be filled.

Keri earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Frostburg State University in 1997 and spent time teaching math and science. She then took a break from her teaching career to focus on raising her children, Laurel and Reagan, a role she cherished above all. Later in life, she found her true passion in healthcare, earning her EMT certification from VCU and going on to complete her nursing degree at Bryant & Stratton College. Keri thrived in the fast-paced environment of the emergency room, where her compassion and skill shone through in her care for patients.

Keri’s memory will be carried on by her loving husband, Jason Goodpasture; her beloved children, Laurel and Reagan (Steve Perchalski); and her stepchildren, Tara and Tyler Goodpasture. She also leaves behind her mother, Barbara Hostetler; her brothers, Jason Hostetler (Katie, Cole, Kylie) and James Hostetler (Elizabeth, Tristan, Brayden); as well as her brothers-in-law, Paul Perchalski (Casandra, Kaitlin, Matthew, Caleb) and Jack Goodpasture (Debbie, Laurel, Colin) and James Goodpasture.

She was preceded in death by her father, Rick Hostetler.
