Lawrence was a good friend and a man who loved Jesus with all his heart. In one way, I am sorry that he has passed on. Yet, now, he rests in heaven not only in the Presence of his Lord and Savior, but reunited with his wife, Shari. We pray for the healing of his family and that the Lord comfort them in every way.

Lawrence was very kind and friendly to me when I was new to VDOT back in the early 90s. I always enjoyed chatting with him about history and mapping. Rest in Peace and Peace be with his family.

Lawrence was a sweet, kind man with love for the Lord. We will always cherish all the holidays, vacations and other memories with him and the family. My children and I always enjoyed spending time with "Uncle Bubs" whether it was sitting talking, fishing, or making fruit cakes for Christmas. He will be missed by all of us. Sending lots of love, hugs, and prayers to Steve, Nancy and the rest of the family.
With Love from Julie and family
